John is regarded as an online child exploitation/ child trafficking and cyber security subject matter expert (SME) with deep and wide ranging investigative, leadership and technical skills, which includes not only law enforcement operations and settings, but judicial, business and strategic consulting, and academic environments.

John's extensive experience with investigating. managing and leading large-scale investigations and teams has given him experience with how people think under stress and how to lead and navigate conflict resolution and crisis communication.

John's experience as a Task Force Commander and his procurement of Technology for his task force has given him insight how technology companies can integrate their technology for the public sector.

John's History

John is the CEO and co-founder of Raven, a 501(c)4 non-profit lobbying firm comprised of subject matter experts and retired law enforcement focused on legislative and policy solutions for child trafficking and child exploitation. Prior to that he spent time helping businesses improve their strategic growth, after retiring in 2021 from the New Jersey State Police where he spent 25 years. During that time, John has investigated and lead large multi-jurisdictional and multi-faceted investigations in Fraud, Terrorism, Organized Crime, Human Trafficking, Homicide and Online Child Exploitation. John was entrusted to lead and resolve complex police investigations into a diverse array of criminal activities, where he has acquired valuable credentials, earned many awards, and gained expertise in cutting-edge security tools, technologies, and tactics, including cybersecurity and digital forensics.

John had spent his last six years in law enforcement as The Internet Crimes Against Children Commander where his Task Force arrested over 1500 people and helped countless victims of online exploitation. John made it is mission to protect the innocent and leveraging partners skillsets in order to accomplish that. John developed a passion and understanding of Neuro Science and Psychology which he applied to his targets and used to protect the innocent.

As a Master NLP-Certified people reader and motivational leader with acute powers of observation, he has assembled, guided, and rallied highly trained teams of law enforcement professionals in the efficient use of best practices for sophisticated, fast-moving investigations. He has also mentored individuals for success through cognitive restructuring. John is Passionate about educating on Internet technology; cybersecurity issues and best practices; leadership; resilience; communication; performance improvement; and personal and professional transformation techniques, he is a vibrant and engaging speaker who regularly consults with and presents to nonprofit organizations, law enforcement agencies, and corporations.
